All Students are required to pay the $50.00 Registration Fee to enroll in the AM Training Institute's dental assisting program and $300 online platform fee. To pay the remaining balance, students can choose from one of the school's payment options on the following page. These payment and financing options are available to all students at AM Training Institute. Please discuss any further questions or concerns with the AM Training Institute Campus Director.

Each student participating in the dental assisting program will be provided with one (1) rental textbook, one (1) Android Tablet, study aids, notes, one (1) pair of scrub pants, one (1) AM Training Institute Scrub Shirt, and one (1) pair of safety glasses and all supplies and equipment required to complete all clinical lab portions of the program. All dental technology and equipment are included. The Android tablet is provided so all students can access our online classroom and is expected to be returned in excellent condition along with the textbook. Students will be charged the full price of the textbook and/or Android tablet should they be lost or damaged.

AM Training Institute will cover the cost for each student’s first attempt at passing the Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) Exam. Any failed attempts requiring a student to retake this exam must be covered and paid for by the student.

Tuition and Registration Fee will be refunded based on guidelines listed on the Cancellation and Refund Policies page. Fees associated with the RHS exam will be refundable (except for any credit card or debit card transaction fees) up until the point the student registers and exams are paid for by AM Training Institute of Dental Assisting.

Once the student has been registered and payment has been processed, the exam fees are no longer refundable.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

AM Training Institute is an accelerated course at 12 weeks. It is not eligible for federal financial aid. The school offers the following payment options for your convenience:

  2. *ZERO INTEREST IN-HOUSE PAYMENT PLAN:

    AM Training Institute can design custom payment plans specific to each student's financial need. A $50 Registration fee and a $300 platform and registration fee is required and paid by the student upon registering on our website. An email with login credentials will be sent to the student for immediate access to the video and lecture content platform alongside instructions for platform use, and course syllabus.

    The following in-house payment options are designed to be interest-free and have the cost of the program paid in full by the last day of class. Plans can be scheduled with weekly or bi-weekly to ensure your payment plan meets your financial needs.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

  1. This policy shall apply to all withdrawals, cancellations, discontinuation and terminations for any reason, by either party, including student decision, course or program cancellation, or school closure.
  2. Students’ Right to Cancel:
    • Students have the right to withdraw within the first two calendar weeks of instruction.
    • Cancellation must be submitted to the authorized official of the school in writing.
    • All tuition charges to a student who withdraws within the first two calendar weeks of instruction will be refunded.
  3. All students must be given a tour of the campus and its facilities prior to enrollment and before the first scheduled class day. The student shall sign and date an acknowledgement form certifying the completion of the tour.
  4. Any monies due to the applicant or students shall be refunded within 30 calendar days from the effective date of termination or withdrawal, which for refund purposes, will be the earliest of the following:
    • the last date of attendance if the student is terminated by the school;
    • the date of receipt of written notice of withdrawal from the student; or
    • one school day following the last date of attendance.
  5. All students will receive a full refund of all monies paid if:
    • the student withdraws within the first two calendar weeks of instruction.
    • the enrollment of the student was procured as the result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of the school, or representations by the owner or representatives of the school or the student’s application is rejected by the school.
    • the school fails to:
      • provide a class with:
        • an approved instructor;
        • the instructors, facilities, equipment, or courses of instruction on the basis of which Agency approval was issued
      • obtain program and course approval from the Agency.
      • undertake a good faith effort to furnish the student, upon satisfactory completion of the program, with a certificate of completion. Note: A school may withhold the transcript or certificate until the student has paid outstanding financial obligations to the school.
  6. A student who terminates the program shall not be charged any fee or other monetary penalty for terminating the program, other than a reduction in tuition refund.
  7. AM Training Institute will make a pro rata refund of tuition charges to a student who terminates from any of the programs after the first two calendar weeks in an amount that is not less than ninety-five percent of the amount of tuition charged to the student multiplied by the ratio of the number of scheduled clock hours remaining in the school period to the total number of scheduled clock hours in the school period. If a terminating student has completed sixty percent or more of a school period, AM Training Institute is not required to refund tuition charges to the student.
  8. AM Training Institute will not base its tuition refund calculation on any portion of a program that remains after a student terminates unless the student was charged for that remaining portion of the program before the student’s termination and the student began attendance in the program.
  9. If, at any time, a student terminates a program after the first two calendar weeks due to the student’s physical incapacity or, for a program that requires classroom instruction, due to the transfer of the student’s spouse’s employment to another city, the terminating student shall receive a refund of the tuition charges in an amount that equals the amount of tuition charged to the student multiplied by the ratio of the remaining number of scheduled clock hours in the school period to the total number of scheduled clock hours in the school period.
  10. A student who withdraws for a reason unrelated to the student's academic status after the 75 percent completion mark and requests a grade at the time of withdrawal shall be given a grade of "incomplete" and permitted to re-enroll in the course or program during the 12-month period following the date the student withdrew without payment of additional tuition for that portion of the course or program.
  11. Refunds of items of extra expense to the student, necessary for the portion of the program attended, such as instructional supplies, books, student activities, laboratory fees, service charges, rentals, deposits, and all other such ancillary miscellaneous charges, which items are separately stated and shown in the information furnished the student before enrollment, will be made as follows:
    1. Books – are issued to students on the first day of class and are refundable within 7 business days of issue provided these items are unused and sealed in original packaging.
    2. Clinical Attire – are issued to students on the first day of class and are refundable within 7 business days of issue provided these items are unused and sealed in original packaging.
    3. Third Party Provided Course Components:
      1. CPR/BLS – American Red Cross – the American Red Cross will provide CPR/BLS training at the school’s premises, which students must attend and complete in Week 11 of the program. Students withdrawing from the program prior to attending this training will be refunded in full.
      2. Any items of extra expense not required for the portion of the program attended must be refunded.
  12. Closure, Program Cancellation, Delay, Scheduling or Postponement:
    1. If the school is permanently closed or the program canceled after a student has enrolled, all monies paid to the school will be refunded in full.
    2. If the program is delayed, rescheduled or postponed for more than 30 days subsequent to a student's enrollment, all monies paid to the school will be refunded in full, if a student elects not to complete the program at a later date.
    3. If the program is canceled by the school after it has begun, the school shall refund as follows:
      1. If a student elects to continue program with another licensed provider as arranged by the school.

REFUND POLICY FOR STUDENTS CALLED TO ACTIVE MILITARY SERVICE

This policy allows a student of the school who is a member (or the spouse of a member if the member has a dependent child), of the Iowa national guard or reserve forces of the United States and who is ordered to national guard duty or federal active duty to:

  1. Withdraw from the student’s entire registration and receive a full refund of tuition and mandatory fees.
  2. Make arrangements with the student’s instructors for course grades, or for incompletes that shall be completed by the student at a later date. If such arrangements are made, the student’s registration shall remain intact and tuition and mandatory fees shall be assessed for the courses in full.
  3. Make arrangements with only some of the student’s instructors for grades, or for incompletes that shall be completed by the student at a later date. If such arrangements are made, the registration for those courses shall remain intact and tuition and mandatory fees shall be assessed for those courses. Any course for which arrangements cannot be made for grades or incompletes shall be considered dropped and the tuition and mandatory fees for the course refunded.

The school shall provide a full refund of tuition and mandatory fees to a student who withdraws and requests that benefit for the payment period in which the student withdrew. The payment period is determined under rules promulgated by the U.S. Department of Education for the disbursement of Federal Stafford Loan Funds.

AM Training Institute's refund policy for students called to active service is shared with students and employees through the use and review of this catalog and enrollment agreement.

Video and Photo Release Consent

During the school session, we take videos and photographs of school lab activities involving students to share the school's positive vibe and updates. By which incidentally, videos and photographs may capture your participation, directly or indirectly.

These photos may be published through our website, social media pages, news bulletins, billboards, and ads. With this, we seek your consent in allowing us to publish videos and photos that may involve you to the said platforms.
